Our team celebrates notes like these, and the families that share their special memories with us. We’ve been here since 1973, and each decade brings more generations of children discovering new fascination with our sea life, ocean birds, and finding shells and sand dollars. Where the river meets the sea, there is a wonderful bird sanctuary hosting snowy plovers & pelicans, sandpipers and cormorants. This area known as Pelican Point is an expansive beach on the south side of Pajaro Dunes.
Seeing whales and dolphins off our coast brings a unique thrill for all. Unlike the crowded beaches of Santa Cruz & Monterey, families enjoy our pristine and uncrowded coastline. From boogie boarding & fishing to sunset bonfires with s’mores, time shared oceanside creates special experiences for all!
